It is so nice that fall is finally here! The weather has officially cooled and it is so much fun to be outside. On Saturday night Matt and I took the kids over to the Zoo for the annual Halloween bash where there was trick or treating, costumes, and lots of fun themes. Jacob was Napolean Dynamite. It really was hilarious! All the teenagers working there were like, "Yeah! I'll vote for Pedro!" I'll post photos of his costume at Halloween time!
Life is going great. Madeleine is finally sleeping eight hours at night which has made my life so much easier and more enjoyable! I feel like a new person, really!
Also, last week all our family came in town, as in both sets of parents, my grandma, and two of my sisters, for Madeleine's special blessing day. Matt gave her a beautiful blessing and she looked like a little princess in the gown Dad and Mom brought from Brazil.

It was soooo wonderful to have you here, Mom and Dad here and we are really sad you are gone! We had a wonderful time together and really love and miss our families.
Matt has heard from a few schools for Oral Surgery interviews (Boston, Iowa, Nebraska, Cinncinati, Delaware and Chicago), which is exciting. He will be going on those primarily in November. Although we aren't going anywhere for Thanksgiving this year, my sister Caroline and her new husband are driving here for a couple of days from his parents in Missouri and so I think we'll have Thanksgiving a few days early with them and them eat leftovers on the actual day. Yay! No work for me!
We hope the family is having a happy October!
